Healing is not the same for every woman. The experiences that bring women to treatment — abuse, loss, trauma, relationship wounds, grief — are deeply personal, and they deserve a space that truly understands them. Diamond Nourish is that space: an all-women, trauma-informed mental health program designed to help women heal completely, not just cope.

What Diamond Nourish is — and why it exists

Diamond Nourish is the all-women's mental health treatment program offered through Diamond Recovery Group — a program built from the ground up with one woman in mind: you. Not a general program adapted for women. Not a mixed-gender environment with a women's track bolted on. Diamond Nourish is a fully dedicated, women-only healing space where every element of the environment, every therapy modality, and every clinical decision is made with the specific emotional, psychological, and physiological needs of women at the center.

The name says it all. To nourish means to feed, to sustain, to help something grow. That is exactly what this program is designed to do — nourish your mind, your body, your sense of self, and your capacity for joy at a time when all of those things may feel depleted or broken.

Why women-only treatment makes a difference

Research consistently shows that women experience mental health conditions differently than men — and that women heal differently too. Women are more likely to internalize trauma, more likely to develop depression and anxiety in response to relational wounds, and more likely to face unique stressors around identity, motherhood, relationships, and social expectation that require specialized clinical attention.

In a mixed-gender treatment environment, many women find themselves holding back. They minimize their experiences. They defer. They feel unsafe sharing the most vulnerable parts of their story in front of men — especially when those stories involve abuse, sexual trauma, or relational harm.

In a women-only environment, something shifts. The room exhales. Women speak more freely, connect more honestly, and heal more deeply. The therapeutic alliance between women in group settings becomes one of the most powerful forces in the entire recovery process — and Diamond Nourish is designed to cultivate exactly that.

Frequently asked questions

Is Diamond Nourish truly only for women?

Yes. Diamond Nourish is a fully dedicated all-women program. All clients, all group therapy sessions, all shared spaces, and all programming are exclusively female. This is a core part of what makes the environment feel safe enough for deep healing to happen.

What types of trauma does Diamond Nourish treat?

We treat all forms of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma (C-PTSD), domestic violence and relationship trauma, sexual trauma and assault, childhood abuse and neglect, grief and loss, and the accumulated trauma of chronic stress and emotional neglect. If you are unsure whether your experience qualifies — it does. Call us.

Does Diamond Nourish accept insurance?

Yes. We work with most major private insurance plans and our team handles the full verification and pre-authorization process at no cost to you. Federal law requires insurance plans to cover mental health treatment — including trauma-specific inpatient and outpatient care — at the same level as other medical services.

How is Diamond Nourish different from a general mental health program?

Diamond Nourish was built specifically for women — it is not a general program with a women's track added on. Every clinical modality, every staff member, every element of the environment, and every group therapy session is designed around the specific healing needs of women. Women consistently report feeling safer, more understood, and more willing to do the deep therapeutic work in an all-women environment.

Can I be admitted the same day I call?

In most cases, yes. Once insurance is verified and a brief clinical assessment is complete, same-day admission is typically available. Our admissions team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you are ready, we are ready.

What if I also struggle with substance use in addition to trauma or mental health?

Diamond Nourish provides integrated dual diagnosis care — meaning we treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously. This integrated approach leads to significantly better outcomes than treating either condition in isolation.

Will my privacy be fully protected?

Absolutely. Your confidentiality is protected under HIPAA and all applicable state regulations. We never share your information with your employer, family, or anyone else without your explicit written consent.
